I have a fully loaded 2001 CV LX, H&P, Comfort+. This is Ford's Full Size Sedan "Category Killer". Search far and wide and you will not find any other car with V-8 power, interior room, and trunk space for under 27K. I dare you to compare. Dirt cheap maintenance costs. Taxis, fleet companies, and police departments have smoked out all the gremlins. Not to mention that minor maintenance can be done by yourself. The owner's manual tells you how! Low insurance costs for good drivers. Safety. 5 star front impact & 4 star side impact. Enough said. Not on the top 10 car theft list like other micro sedans. Low Profile. You are the millionaire next door in a car like this. After all, the 50k extra you didn't spend on a comparable German car would net you $140,000 in 30 years in a modest mutual fund earning 10% or $250,000 on an aggressive mutual fund earning 20%.
