Very fun... pretty fast...

This car has very good power with the 4.6L V8 engine and it is a really fun to drive convertible. I would not buy this car stock, I would go with this mach stereo system and leather seats for sure. The two front seats have room good enough for someone six feet tall but the back seats are very cramped and although you can fit someone back there I would not be mean and make them ride a long distance in the back. For the 6,000 miles that I had the car (30,000-36,000) I had no problems with it at all. The only thing I replaced was the windshield because my friend hit it with a piece of metal. As long as you don't treat this car horribly it will be good to you. Oil change every three to fie thousand miles and you are good to go. If you are thinking about buying a 1999 mustang go with the gt and if you are looking for it to be a weekend car go with the convertible. If you are unsure if you want the manual or automatic go with the automatic because it shifts very fast and it still has a zero to sixty time of less than six seconds.
