Sport Sedan Top Value

For those of you who think owning a tight responsive sport sedan costs 20...maybe 30 thousand dollars, you may have overlooked the 170 horsepower Ford Contour SE Sport V6 at just over $17,000! After 20 years of driving Japanese and German 4 door sport sedans, I was quite surprised with its euro-tight handling, quick acceleration, and elegant body-styling. While the interior is a bit stark, the controls are easy to read and the driver's seat is quite comfortable. The ride is stiff but very responsive giving this driver an impression of a more sporty ride than the exterior lines would allow him to believe.
For the money, (and we all know how expensive these things are these days) one would be hard pressed to find greater value which surpasses that of the Ford Contour Sport SE V6. Even with it's somewhat unrefined interior, this car strongly suggests equality in performance and styling with other 4 door sport sedans nearly twice it's price!
