Product Review

Just not practical

by   Harry_Caray ,   Jun 26, 2000

Ease of Conversion: 4/5 stars

Author's Review

So you want to travel the United States in relative Comfort? Need something to tow your trailer or boat? Thinking about getting that gigantic conversion van for the task? Think Again. Conversion Vans, in this case the Ford econoline Conversion were great inventions. However in these days of soaring fuel cost their practicality just doesn't add up. After driving a Ford Van for some time the hassles are not worth it. A SUV would be much more of a suitable choice. They have the towing power, the comfort, lower fuel costs. Even more important is their ease of use when doing errands around town. No one likes having to maneuver around a turn in a parking lot for a few minutes just because you are driving a car with a turning radius larger than the three point line on a basketball court.
