We love our Explorer

Pros: Comfortable, smooth ride. Good-looking, reliable vehicle.

Cons: Not the greatest gas mileage for city driving.

We purchased this vehicle used in May of 1999 when it had 59,000 miles on it. As of May 2005, it has 145,000 and it is still going strong. We've had to do very little repair work on it, so this has been an exceptionally reliable vehicle.

We have greatly appreciated the comfort factor. We have leather interior, which has held up nicely under a lot of abuse by two boys and two dogs. The seats have always been comfortable and can be adjusted in several different ways to accommodate any driver. There is ample leg room in the back for kids and adults.

The only complaint I have is that the back seat has broken, so that it will no longer fold down.
