The Taurus SHO- best car I have owned yet......
Pros:
Import-Eater, great on gas, unique, really reliable, and easy to work on.
Cons:
Ford doesnt make them anymore, and I wish they were rear wheel drive.
The Bottom Line:
Highly recommended. Power, room, fuel economy, uniqueness all in one package tuned to perfection.

Author's Review
This review is on a 94 Taurus SHO. I bought it at an auction for 1600 with 114k on it. Probably the best day of my life at the time, I was 17 and had wanted one for a couple years. It was loaded, sunroof, JBL sound system (2 stock amps+stock sub in enclosure), and best of all...a 5 speed. Not only was it loaded with options, it did good on gas too. I averaged 27 miles per gallon. On a trip back from San Jose, I averaged 31 mpg going 80 mph and all four windows down!
This car stops on a dime, and is the most reliable car I have ever owned, and having sold it, the car i have regretted selling most. The whole year I owned it, all I did was front brake pads and a thermostat ...thats it. What I liked most about this car is the uniqueness of it. Everyone owns a civic, camaro, and mustang. These cars are rare, especially the fact that they are the only car ever made to have a Yamaha motor in them, and are easy to work on. 220 horsepower feels great! This car pulls strong all the way to the 7200 rpm redline. The best part about this car is pulling up to unsuspecting Mustang GT and import owners and showing them up.
