Go with a pony!

I have been a Mustang fanatic for years...I love Mustangs and they will be the only car I own. I will admit their downfalls (rear wheel drive and not the smoothest ride in town) but their pluses make up for it. The Mustang is one of the only sports cars that offers a reasonable price. You should be able to get a GT with an 8 cyl engine for a little over $20,000. Thats not too bad my today's standards. They come with just about every option you could ever want.

If you're not in the market for a new one...go with an older one...they are all great. I had a 93 GT conv. that has to be the best car I will ever have had. Besides being fast and sporty, it was very reasonably priced for all the features that came with it.

I would not go for a Mustang if you plan on driving it a lot in the snow. However, snow tires and sand bags can do wonders for it. Overall the Mustangs in general are good cars. If you take care of them they will take care of you. They also have a bit of history so when you drive them you tend to feel that history. Good luck!

Oh, I would not recommend them for 16 year old boys, the insurance is outrageous.
