Ride Sally Ride

I'm not the die hard "Ford Or Chevrolet" fan but I do love my Mustang. It's a 93 Ford Mustang G.T. (Burgundy and gray) When you ask me "why" I bought this vehicle the first thing that comes to mind is "Looks". This car of mine...it just flat out looks tough. I remember driving around BC (before car) having my eye caught numerous amounts of times by these vehicles. Second is of course the "get up and go" it has. Granted it's not the fastest thing out there but I've left a few people smelling my fumes.

What do you think of when you think Mustang? Fast? Gas-guzzler? Head turner? Well it is all these things and more. Did I trade a smooth riding, quite, gas efficient car for this rough riding, loud, gas drinker? Yes I did! And why? Because I look so dang good in it. It does have the tendency to make me drive a little more aggressively. Which is not good. But why have all those horsey’s and not use them.

It's got 205 horsepower, has a 5.0 engine and gets about 20 miles to the gallon average. 17/24 City/highway. It's a 2-DR hatchback. Seats 4 people. For those of you who don't know 93 was the last year they made this particular body style. Not a lot of trunk space though. Not much of a glove compartment either, but who needs it? It is not a family car or even a good for long travel. Not enough room.

Until I get ready to do the family thing I think I'll keep my sports car thank-you-very-much. See you on the road!
