Author's Review

Am second owner. Its my second Aerostar (the first one was a 3.0L shorty with 250,000 when I sold it) and I love it. It replaced a pickup that got 8 mpg. Has 188,000 miles, passes all CA emissions and gets 22 highway,17 mpg in town. Runs great, VERY comfortable, quiet and will carry almost anything a pickup will, yet has seating for 7 when needed. Extremely reliable, and have never had touchy brakes when wet. Replaced transmission at 170,000 but the rest is original except for tires, brakes and other regular maintained items. Nothing else is avail that can come close to replacing it! Ford made a mistake when they stopped making it.
