Author's Review

My husband chose to purchase this vehicle because he needed either a pick-up or a van, since he is in the flooring business and often has to carry large amounts of carpet, vinyl, and/or tile. He was a little leary about buying a 1988 model year truck with over 90,000 miles on it, but money was tight and he needed a new vehicle quickly. He was pleasantly surprised. Besides some minor mechanical problems, he has had no problems with it.
He loves the way it drives and handles the road. It is quite reliable for its age.
Since the clutch was adjusted on it, the drive is excellent. It handles "like a dream".
Anybody in the market for a used pickup truck, with a small cash flow, would find the Ford Ranger a good buy.
