in-destructable vehicle

I bought a 88' F-150, with an inline 6, from a friend about a year ago for a thousand bucks. I would have to say it was the best investment of my life so far. Before I bought it from my friend, I was a bit leary about what had been done to the truck BY my friend. I would have to say that I've never seen so much ragging on a truck that had lasted so long.......CONSTANT RAGGING. This includes holding the brakes and burning a nice set of tires for MINUTES at a time and also putting the pipes underwater just to hear it bubble. I would have to say that the black Ford truck had been through Hell JUST WITH ME, and yet this truck lasts to 200,000 miles and is still going as strong as the day I bought it. Just last weekend I put 2000 pounds of sand in it and moved it 30 miles, up and down big hills, around curves, etc. and yet it refuses to give up. I would have to say that I've drove s-10's, and a bunch of other trucks and none can compete with the heart of the Black Ford.
