Overall The F 150 does what is expected over all. In the 10 months and 26000 miles since I bought mine new I have noticed several items that seem cheaply made. The radiator fins are so flimsy that when bugs that hit them they leave imprints . The plastic trim under the windshield is not straight . I have snapped parts of the dash back together that come unsnapped from time to time. Like most people I did not check the owners manual for the towing capacity. I just assumed that a full-sized truck with built trailer wiring built in would have a reasonable towing ability but with 4.2 and manual transmission I am limited to 2400 lbs?? max trailer weight compared to over 5000 for the same size engine with an automatic. I get about 20 mpg. I do allot of highway driving which is about what the EPA est is for this truck. I have needed to get warranty service twice once once because the air conditioner stated draining water in to the cab that was cause by a clogged drain and once during an extended trip to the Appalachian mountains I was concern that I was not climbing steep grades as fast as should but after a inspection by a local dealer he decided there was nothing wrong. I was expecting to much out of the smallest engine made by Ford I needed a front end alignment at about 20000 miles. I have spent some time on back roads but I have driven other cars on the same roads and only had alignments done every 50 to 75 thousands miles
