Gives you Sleep!

This has been the best baby product we have owned.  My son, now 3, loved this as an infant. He would stop crying once we put him in it, and he'd sleep quite a long time. We positioned it so he'd never see the TV, so it's a flexible swing!  If he got up too early, he'd go back to sleep in it and I'd sleep under it.  It's how we survived those first few months, though I was careful not to overuse it.  I felt guilty about having an electronic thing on hand, but you can't take care of a baby if you get no sleep!  I also put a "no flat head" support in it, which was great. By 7 months he was no longer interested in it. We didn't change the batteries much, as they REALLY last a while. 

My daughter was not as big of a fan. She used it until well over 1 year old, but she didn't take to it like he did.

Our third baby is due now, and we are setting it up again. We have taken perfect care of it (and it's surrounded by a gate playard), but the motor does not work correctly anymore, nor the music.

I want to keep it anyway and not buy a new one, and this has great memories for us.  It swings just fine (side to side or back and forth) so I'm sure the baby will be happy enough with it.

I even put this together myself, which says something.  It was easy!
