I love this Fisher Price grow with me rocker!
Date of Review: Nov 20, 2008
The Bottom Line: The Fisher Price Infant to Toddler rocker is very simple and easy to use and does actually grow with your child.
The Fisher Price Infant to Toddler Rocker is exactly what it is. I purchased this to keep at grandma's house and my son used it when he was only a few months old and now at 22 months he still uses it.
It requires 1 D battery to have gentle vibrations but that is all the battery is for so it does seem to last. Some other features are a foldout kickstand for feeding or sleeping, two-position recline seat that easily adjusts, and hanging toys. This bouncer is basically very simple and not a typical flashy toy from Fisher Price.
When my son was little I would prop the kickstand up and recline the seat back, buckle him in and turn on the vibrations. Now that he is bigger we have the seat upright and he can rock himself forward and back like a rocking chair. The toy bar easily removes or can be pushed behind the chair and baby.
This is a perfect chair for the grandparents house or just for an extra chair as it folds up very nicely to somewhat compact. The chair pad is also machine washable which is always a plus for any baby products.
