Rainforest in my house...

by   h_nicholas ,  Jun 28, 2008
Pros: colorful, wonderful sounds, competitively priced
Cons: none yet
The Bottom Line: Love the colors, shapes, sounds and vibrations. Keeps baby entertained.
Review: This is a wonderful product. I fell in love with it when I saw it. With all the wonderful shower gifts, some of which had to be returned, I am finding that Fisher Price has the corner of the market with this Rainforest theme. First of all this item ...

Fisher Price Bouncer - A Rainforest of Fun

by   kbradfie ,  Jan 17, 2007
Pros: Lightweight, easy to assemble, fun toys and sounds, calming vibrations.
Cons: Requires 4 "D" batteries to operate the toys and sounds, which could get expensive.
The Bottom Line: Great way to give parents' arms a rest letting baby have a fun place to sit and be entertained. Lightweight design is easy to move around and keep baby close.
Review: With a baby on the way I knew that one of my top items to buy or request was a baby bouncer, so I was thrilled when we received the Fisher Price Rainforest bouncer as a gift. Having done a lot of babysitting through the years I have seen how helpful a ...

Great Bouncer, Keeps Twins Happy

by   blakebradmom ,  Apr 21, 2008
Pros: Entertaining, soothing, easy to use.
Cons: Chews through batteries, tool bar too thick.
The Bottom Line: Great seat, multiple uses, highly recommend.
Review: We received 2 of these bouncers for baby shower gifts. We began using the bouncers when our babies were relatively young. Right away I felt that these seats were safe and secure. The harness is easily connected and undone, and simple to adjust to your ...

Yeah for the Rainforest Bouncer

by   losercher ,  Nov 20, 2008
Pros: Fun even without batteries.
Cons: Batteries do not last.
The Bottom Line: The Rainforest Bouncer entertains my baby both with and without batteries with its colorful design and animals.
Review: My son loves his Rainforest bouncer by Fisher Price. It matches the Fisher Price Rainforest line perfectly and does more than just "bounce." When turned on, it will vibrate and the monkey on the overhead toy will go up and down and light up.  It ...

Very close to being the perfect bouncer!

by   astolate ,  Jul 4, 2007
Pros: removable toy bar, interactive play mode, stimulating colors
Cons: defective toy bar (i.e. - the infamous clicking!)
The Bottom Line: While it comes close to being the perfect bouncer fisher-price has fallen just short. I'd still buy it again!
Review: A great new addition to the Fisher-price line is the "Rainforest Collection" and this is another one of the many items I have from the line. I received this item as (yet again) a baby shower present, only this time I got this item from my mother-in-law ...

Wonderful Bouncer!

by   woollysocks ,  Mar 11, 2008
Pros: Vibration, vibrant colors, fun toys, sturdy, portable
Cons: Eats batteries
The Bottom Line: This vibrating bouncer does a great job of lulling baby to sleep during quiet times, and offering sensory fun during play time.
Review: This is a very colorful bouncer from the Fisher-Price Rainforest collection that offers seat vibration, and a detachable toy bar that makes sounds and lights up. I put my newborn baby in this seat within the first month of her coming home, and she ...

Better than its predecessor, still needs work though

by   obfunkhouser ,  Feb 11, 2007
Pros: lights, captivating music, reachable toys, one battery compartment,
Cons: defective toy bar
The Bottom Line: This is a good buy for the money. There are no other bouncers that come close.
Review: This seat is for our 3 month old daughter who weighs 15 pounds. First, I'll point out the pros of this bouncer seat. The music is wonderful. The waterfall is captivating. The colors are mesmerizing. She can sit in the seat for 25 minutes easily. The seat ...

what happened to the good ole bouncers?

by   mom2emma ,  Aug 22, 2008
Pros: seat isn't too deep
Cons: could be more contoured
The Bottom Line: Not sure if it is worth $50 but other seats that aren't too deep actually cost more and have no electronic toy bar
Review: My very first bouncer in the 1990s was the best I owned. Fisher Price decided to fix what wasn't broke and have been "improving" ever since. All I want in a bouncer is a bouncing frame that still supports 15 lbs, a contoured seat that isn't too deep it ...

Not bad... Good product

by   monty33 ,  Jan 11, 2008
Pros: Chair can be used without rainfall arch, washable cloth cover, rattle setting
Cons: hard plastic arch must be careful removing it (could break latches or tip onto baby).
The Bottom Line: I like it. I would recommend it.
Review: Received as a shower gift. My cousin swears by the bouncing chair with her 4 kids. They must have changed the monkey - he doesn't move up and down just swings. Monkey has 2 rings that baby can pull off. Mine is 4 months and rips them off and throws them ...
