Reflux and Colic Tool

My experience:

The Fisher Price Papasan Bouncer has been added to my mommy-to-be recommended list. When my second son was born, my husband and I thought we had the dreamiest baby. He would sleep 18+ hours a day and seemed very laid back until he hit the two weeks mark. It was like he just woke up from a deep sleep and was no longer a dreamy baby but an angry baby with every waking moment screaming and spitting up. Since we just entered colic and reflux hell we needed something, anything to sooth our previously dreamy baby and that tool was the Fisher Price Papasan Bouncer.

Likes and Dislikes on the Papasan Bouncer:

I'll first start off and say that this isn't a bouncer, it is a chair with some vibration and lullaby functionality. The battery life totally sucks and we finally didn't use the vibration or the music because we were burning through too many "C" batteries. This chair also was only good until my son was 3 months old since he was a longer baby.
What I loved was the fact that my infant could sit in the chair and sleep without his head flopping side to side and he didn't experience reflux in the chair. He was definitely less fussy in the chair than in a car seat, bouncer or swing. The chair being slightly elevated and deep made this baby a bit happier. He slept in the bouncer at night until he was 12 weeks old and it definitely allowed my husband and I to get much needed sleep while we were dealing with the screaming during the day. The bunny and mirror were cute features and my son did start to play with them a bit once he was close to 3 months of age.

Overall:
This was a lifesaver for night sleep with a colic and refluxing baby. Even though there are some features that I don't like at all I would recommend this to all new mommy's to be.
