Japanese Wrestling?

Fire Pro Wrestling is a Japanese game that captures the essence of American wrestling games. Although it has appeared in many consoles before this version, this has to be the first one released in the U.S. I am glad that this is the only one released in the U.S. because it is not too good of a game. The wrestlers all act the same and look the same. There isn't much variety in it either. The many modes will provide lots of replay value but it is not good enough to keep gamers hooked on it. Here is a full review of what the game can handle:

Graphics: The 3/4 perspective doesn't bother me that much but when the wrestlers look the same, it is a problem.

Control: The hit detection is probably the worst of any GBA game and it is very frustrating trying to perform a special move.

Audio: From the great sound of effects of the impacts to the cheers from the crowd, it was a delight to see something good from this pack.

Overall: Overall, this game lacks in every mode it has to offer but it still manages to capture the good old style wrestling.
