Fuji Z1 -- Take it Anywhere

Date of Review:  Dec 7, 2005
The Bottom Line: This camera is excellent as a shirt-pocket, point and shoot camera. For most users, it will meet all their needs. The ability to take low-light pictures is a plus.
Review: For a couple of years now I've been using my Canon PowerShot A300 for everyday pictures, and a Nikon 5700 for better shots. However, as the children have gotten older, I found my Canon ... ahem ... appropriated. While I love the Nikon, for...

Fuji FinePix Z1 is just fine

Date of Review:  Jun 20, 2005
The Bottom Line: I like the form; It's very small and very fast. My experience with durability may have been isolated. Price is great.
Review: The FinePix Z1 is just fine. It does have very quick start-up time. The photo quality, however, is just OK. The 5 mega-pixel photos don't look as good as the 4 mega-pixels on me Pentax Optio S4i. I've more robust user interfaces as well on just...

Fuji Z1 A disappointment

Date of Review:  Oct 2, 2005
The Bottom Line: I can't recommend a camera that produces poor image quality. There are much better choices for the same money.
Review: This is my third Fuji point and shoot camera. I have also owned an F700 and an F810, excellent little cameras. I own other digital cameras, including a Nikon D100 and a Nikon D2X. I expect a lot from all my cameras, especially image quality. I felt...

GREAT CAMERA. A bit pricey but worth it

Date of Review:  Jun 21, 2005
The Bottom Line: Great camera, price and quality in line.
Review: I purchased this camera because of the size and the mega pixels. The 5.1 mp is outstanding. I went to a friend's graduation and tested the camera out. Later I had the pics developed at Wal Mart on their Kodak machine and the quality was remarkable...

Good camera

Date of Review:  Jun 16, 2007
Review: While I'm not camera expert I do consider myself a "permanent tourist". I use my camera everywhere - from Afghanistan to my home town to my local neighborhood. It has great startup time and takes cool video clips. It slips in my pocket or in my car...

super ccd fifth generation is good . Leave it on automatic for everyday shooting

Date of Review:  May 7, 2005
Review: This knockaround point and shoot camera does what it claims to do. Under low light, it "automatically" adjusts to give good exposure. Very easy to operate, all the controls are at your fingertips....just getting use to it but in time, it will a...

Fuji Z1: a slick, fast, easy to use camera with excellent image quality.

Date of Review:  Jun 9, 2005
Review: This camera just feels right: design is great- easy to find buttons, very comfortable, easy navigation, and fast- from live to playback, and from off to on. The image quality is very good for a point and shoot: very little break up, excellent color,...

What happened?

Date of Review:  Jul 11, 2005
Review: I waited and waited and waited for this camera to be released. After reading many new and good things about it I placed my order as soon as they were available. I have had 2 FujiFilm cameras in the past (A210 and S5000) and have been very happy with...

Dont bother, fuzzy pictures

Date of Review:  Dec 10, 2005
Review: I was excited to get this camera, I wanted something light and small. The features seemed great, but am I disappointed. My cannon 3 megapixel takes better pictures than this. The images are fuzzy, not sharp and crisp.
