The Bottom Line: Watch this movie, buy this movie, watch this movie again and again. It's great!
This Disney/Pixar film is a fantastic movie. It starts out sweet, sad, touching, and then goes to funny, sweet, touching. It's the perfect movie. If you get it on DVD, there are a lot of bonus features. I haven't even seen them all. But if I was stranded on an island and I could only have a few movies, Finding Nemo would definitely be in the top 5.
In the movie, Albert Brooks plays Marlin (Nemo's father), and Ellen DeGeneres plays Dory, and Alexander Gould play's Nemo's voice.
In the beginning of the movie it shows Marlin and his wife, Carol. They're playing around, looking at their unhatched babies. Then the worst happens: A barracuda comes. The barracuda kills Carol and all of their children. Except one; Nemo. So Marlin promises that he will never let anything happen to Nemo. So now it's his first day of school, Marlin is a little hesitant, because he doesn't want to see anything bad happen to Nemo. So ever since Carol was killed, Marlin has been an overprotective father, one who is afraid of losing his only son. Nemo loves his dad, but would like some freedom. So one day Nemo gets taken away by scuba divers. Marlin is searching desperately for the boat that the scuba divers went on, but loses it. So he bumps into Dory (literally, bumps). Dory is a unique fish who suffers from short-term memory loss. All through the movie Dory is trying to help Marlin find Nemo. This is a truly touching story, and it has many laughs.
This is the perfect movie for all ages. It will make you laugh and cry. You'll mostly laugh though. :)
This film has no profanity, and no sexual gestures. It's the best movie I've seen in a long time.
The graphics in this movie are so realistic. It's truly a beautiful movie.
I hope you decide to watch and buy the movie. :)
