Medievil days are over?

Remember when Final Fantasy 7 first came out and every Final Fantasy fan raved over it and wanted it? I can still remember when I saw that commercial... "An Evil empire is sucking the life force from the planet.....its up to one soldier of fortune to save the world!! If he succeeds- you survive! If he fails...you can always press the RESET button........FINAL FANTASY 7!!!!!!!!!!
Final Fantasy 7 shocked me as well as everyone else with its all new real like graphics and new Movie scenes! The game was a major revolution in how we viewed Final Fantasy. We saw Cloud carrying that huge sword.....but what about that big black guy Barret with....is that a gun!!!??? Has Final Fantasy really kicked its old medievil ways of swords, mages, and ninja's to guns, trains, helicopters, bombs, and an empire that produces mako energy which is really the life force of the planet!?
Has all this come too fast, I honestly liked medievil sword fights!? But the fact is.....this GAME ROCKS!!!! Cloud vs. Sephiroth in sword fights, Barret vs. Dyne with guns grafted into their arms, Vincent vs. Hojo to defend Lucrecia's honor, and lets not forget that famous cat fight of Tifa vs. Scarlet slapping each other!
Final Fantasy 7's story line will keep you guessing and wondering to the end! There are a total of 9 characters you can use and each person with their own story to tell.
I think this game has the best magic "system" out of any other Final Fantasy......because it is the entire basis of the game, involves an entire race of people- the Cetra (or the Ancients), and is somewhat scientific to the story line....It makes Sense! Not to Mention the Summon materia, and if you ever get Knights of the Round...you are in for a treat.....ULTIMATE END MAGIC!
I strongly recommend getting this game because it is one of the best ever! I would get the Playstation version, if you get the PC version....it has been known to freeze during movie scenes or simply "run an illegal operation and must be shut down" but these shouldn't be a problem if you have a pretty fast computer and some type of good video card.
