Iconic Scent
Date of Review: Jul 27, 2008
The Bottom Line: I do recommend you give this cologne a shot, the odds are in your favor that you or the person receiving the gift will like it.
Rarely, if ever, has a clothing-based retailer created an iconic scent that has really grown into its own business as Abercrombie has w/ Fierce. This scent defines the store and brings to life the experience within the store. If you've been in an Abercrombie store, you know you can't miss it. A strong, versatile scent that is primarily masculine, but is still very popular amongst the females that enjoy something that can be almost unisex. One of the best facets of this cologne is that it isn't too woodsy or too citrusy as many male colognes can be. If you need to be convinced of the popularity of this cologne, go into any store around the time schools begin session each year, or around Christmas time. You will be lucky on most occasions to be able to pick up a larger bottle (1.7 oz.-a little better for the price), and will most likely have to settle on the smaller 1.0 oz size. No matter which size you do choose, for the quality and popularity of the cologne, you would expect it to be a little more pricey. Many colognes in the department stores will easily run you $80-$100+, and you are still running the risk that the person you are buying it for is going to like it. Most scents are either too strong in this way, or are too fruity in another. Fierce balances it out well which is why it really has become one of those unmistakeable scents out there, have you tried it yet?
