Built to last! Definitely worth the $$$

I bought the shredder about two months ago and this thing is great. It is automatic, just put a piece of paper to it and the motor will start to shred it. The shredder will continue to shred, even after the paper is done, so that all the paper stuck in the blades will fall out and not jam the machine. It shreds up to 4 "sheets" of paper fast and will even shred staples! The only down fall to the shredder is that the opening isn't that big, you'd have to fold an 8.5" x 11" piece of paper in thirds to get it to fit (perfect for credit card apps that come in the mail, though).

It really feels heavy duty (for a personal use shredder). I use mine weekly and feel safe about shredding checks and other personal paperwork since it has a thorough confetti cut pattern. If you put too many pieces through at once, it'll slow down and may miss a section to cut. But if you use it like you are suppose to, it's very reliable.

I had previously purchased an Aurora shredder and it just didn't last. This one has definitely out performed in the short amount of time that I have had it. I'm very pleased with this purchase.
