If you have shredding requirements--this machine is for you!

Having recently lost a shredder to a series of misfortunes--namely, an unskilled repair man who was unab;e to "fix it", we found ourselves in the market for a new shredder. Since we have highly sensistive information, it was necessary to look only at those shredders that provided cross cut features. We also wanted a unit that could be easily moved and had a built-in paper recepticle.

This Fellowes 220CC is a dream. Comes on wheels for ease of movement, forward/reverse buttons, green and red lights help in terms of determining error messages. Unit will not only shred but will also handle those occasional staples and paper clips that inadvertently make their way to the shredder. Noise is minimal--nothing we can't tolerate and the best part is the size of the resultant shredded paper--it is so small tthat it would ne difficult if not impossible for someone to reconstruct the original document. User friendly, foolproof. Nonetheless, we put an "out of order" sign on our machine when we don't want senior staff using machine. They seem to be the source of our problems and so we unplug the unit, put out our sign and that way ensure that only those of us that actually know how to work the machine do so.

It is 70 lbs. and is approximately 32x17x16. The paper waste container wil hold approximately 18 gallons of shredded paper.
