Makes the stage glow! By meeting all the requirements of the standard shredder it already out performs most of the competition. Sleekly designed to give you an inside perspective of when it should be emptied. The price value has given it a cheap outside look in some aspect. But it’s the inside that counts. Of course do not believe that it must be treated with care because that is a safety feature about it, seeing as how a small hiccup could cause it to malfunction.

Owning Guide to Shredder:

First and foremost, if you have an animal in the house and/or kids under age 10 my suggestion would be to disconnect this Fellowes P70CM Shredder after every use. (Its energy efficient too) The Controls Feature is common Shred - off - reverse. When shredding understand that throwing all your paper in at the same time is pretty much the worst idea you could have. I say about a 10 sheet max would be safe. Credit cards should only be one at a time. That is the most common reason why shredders today stop working and it’s simply overload.

Be sure to empty before it reaches the brim, have you ever attempted to shred with no room. It does not work very well. Because this Fellowes P70CM Shredder is not the largest shredder I would expect to empty it often if you shred on a daily basis. The reverse feature is hardly ever used unless you mess up and did not want to shred something but even so it’s probably too late anyway. The reverse can be useful though if you do get too much paper stuck in there because by reversing it give the blades a chance to move some out of the way.--- KEEP THAT IN MIND!! All around read the manual if you feel you are a little intimidated.

Price:

Fellowes P70CM Shredder is amongst the cheapest shredders out there. And though it is true you get what you pay for. With a little care this shredder can out last many. Very adequate price for a family home item or small office.

User Friendly:

Way simple design On - off - reverse. And simply lift the top and pull out the bag when emptying. (Safer to unplug before doing)

Durability:

It’s durable for its use that much is true. However try kicking the side and you will easily get a big dent causing it to go lop sided and making it difficult to stand up. Also too much paper at once can cause blades to bend and stick. DO NOT DROP.

Safe:

Just keep away from those who don't know how to use it. It is safe like others except when lifting off the top it may be heavy and so a drop on the toe could be bad also because so of the blades are exposed on the bottom.

By all means it is the most satisfactory Shredder for the normal shredding purposes and the price out beats the competition. Honestly I would by this over and over until the day came that I had a large office to shred tons of material then I would definitely upgrade.
