My Shredder

I recently decided that I wanted a shredder to take care of old bank statements ,paid bills and things.This was not really a "need",just a "want" I purchased a GBC Shredmaster from my internet Staples store.The price was $48 with delivery and tax included.

The unit is very compact,the shredder sits on top of it's own waste basket.It is capable of shredding five sheets of paper at once.The switch is left on,with a sensor that notes when paper is inserted.This causes the shredder to automatically turn on.There is a reverse switch in case of paper getting plugged up.This quickly clears the cutters.

The basket is quite large so unless you are shredding a great amount of paper,it does not need to be emptied often.The shredded paper would make good packing if mailing a fragile package.It is the ideal shredder for household use.
