Pros: Confetti-cut, shreds CDs

Cons: blade exit path collects cut paper, difficult to clear.

This item is touted as a medium duty shredder. In our Dept, we routinely shred 400+ pages every two weeks.

If you shred throughout the day, the unit works fine. We found this unit overheats if you use it for more than 10-15 minutes continuously.

The biggest problem this unit has is the paper gets stuck in the exit portion of the blades. After shredding just a few pages, the blade path exit is full of stuck paper, which is quite difficult to remove. (we've been cleaning it monthly)

The unit does have some nice features: eats credit cards, CDs/DVDs, basket full indicator...

This unit lasted 5 years for us, and has just failed...
