This Movie is Freaking Sweet
Date of Review: Oct 7, 2005
The Bottom Line: This is very much worth your time. Funny, but maybe not the best movie ever. Go rent it; it will entertain you.
This reveals quite a bit about the plot of the movie.
Well if you didn't catch it freaking sweet is what Peter says all the time. This movie was very funny and entertaining. Pretty much just like the episodes are, but they got to add some stuff in that networks surely wouldn't allow. There is some cussing, and some sketchy scenes, but for the most part it's the same as the episodes are.
If you've never seen Family Guy they usually go with the off the wall stupid humor, or sarcastic humor. Its extremely hilarious, but to some people can be offensive. There are certain parts in this movie, though brief, which could be offensive to all minorities, and various religions. One example would be that adult Stewie traveled back to the time of Jesus Christ, and said that his powers were exaggerated. It then proceeded to show Jesus performing a trick with his fingers, which was not magic. This could very easily be offensive, but if you watch the episodes they can be too so this movie won't be anything special.
This movie focuses on of course if you couldn't tell Stewie Griffin. He finds a future himself running around, and travels back to the future with future Stewie to fix his life when he realizes that he becomes a loser. Most of the movie is baby Stewie changing things about adult Stewie's life, and it's not until the end that they find the root cause of his geeky future. I'll leave at least that much a secret. The movie does however go back to Peter and the rest of the family quite a bit, giving you the big fat man's hilarious, but dumb, antics.
Although it was a great movie, I think there has been better content in the episodes. Truthfully its very much worth watching, but I think could have been better. It seems like they didn't have as many "WOW thats funny," parts. Watch the movie
