Greatest thing since beer in a bottle!

I was seriously entertaining the idea of laser eye surgery when my optometrist suggested Night & Day's. It wasn't what I came in for at the time (I wanted some violet contacts!), but he insisted I would really like them, and gave me a trial pair.

The first day wearing them was horrible ~ my eyes were red and watery, and I didn't think I would be able to keep them in ~ but the doctor explained I needed to put all-purpose solution directly in my eyes regularly to keep them hydrated. I kept them in for 24 hours, and the 2nd day was much better. Every day thereafter it was the best purchase I've ever made, and I've worn them for about 3 years now.

I have very poor vision, and without glasses I cannot see anything more than 12 inches from my face...I absolutely love the freedom & independence of waking and seeing my surroundings immediately. I wear glasses if I want a break from the contacts, but I don't even bring glasses with me on vacation as a back-up anymore; my Focus Night & Day contacts have never torn or become damaged with insertion or removal, and have always served their full 30 days of maximum recommended wear without fail.

It's a very minor inconvenience as far as I'm concerned, but upon waking, saline (all-purpose solution) does need to be put directly into both eyes in order for the contacts to be comfortable...they will adapt if it were an emergency and no solution was available, but it's much more pleasant to have them lubricated immediately upon waking. This is the only time of day I need to hydrate the lenses; I very rarely put any sort of drops or saline in my eyes during waking hours, and I live in one of the driest climates in the world: Arizona.
