Great kettle, but did not last
Pros:
Quick hot water. Small footprint.

We have loved our Krups Kettle. It heats quickly, even a full pot in less than 2 minutes. The extra boiling never bothered me. I figured it was the pot assuring that ALL the water had reached boiling temp. The noise is not a big problem, either.
We have had our Krups kettle for about 1 3/4 years, and so, it is out of warranty. Our switch did not fail, as others have experienced, but we began to notice it acting a bit funky and realized that the soft touch switch, though attractive and trendy, was not a good design choice for durability.
Our problem came in the form of a leak from the lower end of the handle. I contacted Krups and they, of course, would do nothing out of warranty. They did offer us a mail in rebate coupon. Unfortunately, it required a minimum purchase of $60. The price of the kettle at Bed Bath and Beyond is $59.99. Close, but no rebate. We could use it for a different Krups product, but I don't think so.
