Worked great for a year

Pros: Exterior is cool to the touch.

Cons: Switch malfunctioned after a year.

We used this kettle every day. It was fast and easy to use. We also liked the plastic exterior because it did not get very hot to the touch, so no risk of burning yourself. After about 14 months of use, the on/off switch started to go bad. We have to push the switch numerous times to get it to stay on. Needless to say, we are in the market for a new kettle!
