NICE EXTRAS, NOT FOR THOSE IN A HURRY

I purchased this toaster to replace my Cuisinart that had died on one side. I specifically wanted a 4 slot toaster that was side by side fashion and not long like some of the newer models out there. It is a little bulky, the sides round out a little more than necessary. I would say my favorite feature is the fact that there is a lever on the front that allows you to raise the toast higher out of the slot than most toaster. I am not concerned that my children will burn themselves removing a bagel or waffles out the slots. The lever has three height selections for raising your item out of the toasting slot. I have noticed that this toaster is a little slower than some that I have owned in the past. It has the crumb trays which I like. It is pretty stylish looking, almost a retro kind of look without the price that some of the retro style toaster are asking. It cleans up nicely.
My only advise is if you have a very small counter space that you look for something that isn't so bulky. This toaster doesn't fit in the spot where my previous Cuisinart was, same 4 slot design but the housing wasn't so bulky. It does have the bagel toasting option. This would be a good toaster for people with kids, people that have any kind of dexterity problems or even sight problems, because of the ability to elevate the item so far out of the toaster.
I just wish it were a little faster, cooked more evenly and was less bulky.
