Eyes whide shut

You wouldn't like Kubrick films if you JUST watch them. It's not like going to the movie, buying popcorn and having good time, like you do at the "American pie". Seeing his movie is an adventure itself-you don't like one first, you see it again and you hate it, and you end up seeing damn thing 25 times without knowing why you do it. I rented Eyes wide shut" on DVD yesterday, and found it so boring that it took me an effort not to return the movie without even finishing watching. Guess what - I was thinking about damn movie whole day and today I was watching it again to check out if I have missed something. Man, this film is SO loaded with information; you may watch it hundred times and find a different concept...
"Eyes wide shut" is not as difficult to watch as, let's say "Space odyssey" but it is still one of the most sophisticated movies of our time.
And... Well, there are lot of questions to be asked, about many things there, but those are questions about life itself.
It always like that with Kubrick. More questions when answers. And if you are usually offended by nudity or if you can't control arousal when you watch nude, than this movie simply isn't made for you.
