Product Review

Small Price, BIG FLOP!

by   carolhcomments ,   Jun 15, 2007

Pros:  Good for the "ONCE-IN-AWHILE" use family

Cons:  Design is POOR, durablility/stability is POOR, DOES NOT HOLD UP!

The Bottom Line:  Is NOT the BEST double stroller I have ever used and I would suggest spending out the few extra bucks on something that'll last!

Overall Rating: 2/5 stars

Author's Review

I have 3 kids of my own and I run an Infant/Toddler daycare from my home, PLUS I do NOT drive!
So I have much experiance with double strollers....
When I bought this one (after starting my daycare) it seemed really nice, The handle bar was wide and well cushioned, the wheels were large and smooth riding and the seating seemed to be comfy for all, BUT THEN....
Our first time of using it I noticed that the fabric on the seats was NOT removable (which is NOT good with a kid product in the first place) and that the front Snack/Cup bar was almost instantly going to get broke!....
Soon after the first use I noticed one of the rear wheels "WEEBLED"....it finally fell off, so then I had my local hardware store "HAMMER" it back on for the trip home....not long after that "FIX" BOTH rear wheels fell off leaving me stranded....The EVENFLO company said the part was NOT repairable, but rather ONLY replaceable at MY COST!
I also noticed right about the first time of use the frame "WOBBLED" itself- The back went one way and the front went another when being turned or even simply being steered!...

The EVENFLO company did finally send me a whole NEW REVISED rear wheel assemby for FREE once I really complained about their "FAULTY" product, BUT I still think they need to "REVISE" their whole product and send out FREE replacement rear wheels to ALL who call in and complain.
The front tray did eventually break a bit (though it is still usable it is NOT strong)....ANOTHER THING I noticed was the seats did NOT seem to recline much and the front canopy (though neat) was hard to retract up and down and I am sure will finally give out and breatk eventually.
I don't think I would recommend this stroller to the "FREQUENT" walker due to it's unresponsiveness in steering and it's "FLIMSY" make....
This model though would maybe be good for a person who would use it very little.
