Product Review

Solid Choice for the Price

by   hemelstrand ,   Jan 26, 2005

Pros:  Sturdy, folds easily, large storage basket, handles well in most conditions, affordable price

Cons:  Smaller front seat with less recline

The Bottom Line:  I would recommend this stroller to anyone looking to spend less than 100 dollars.

Overall Rating: 4/5 stars

Author's Review

I purchased this for my 3 year old and 8 month old to share. I was attracted to this by the step that enables my 3 year old to climb in unassisted. I also liked the fabric and general look of the stroller. The wheels are large and give a smooth ride. Generally the stroller seems very sturdy as my 3 year old climbs in. The steering is great and precise on a smooth surface like good sidewalks and hard floors and the ride was quite smooth. If you are walking on a side slant like in the street close to the gutter the stroller will pull, but most people don't prefer to walk on a slant anyhow. I put my 8 month old in the front because the seat is smaller and my 3 year old has more room in the back. Both children are comfortable. This stroller folds quickly and with little fuss and fits easily in the rear of my van. The canopies are height adjustable. The front seat has a minimal recline while the rear would be better for a sleeping infant. The basket is huge and would accommodate a diaper bag and shopping bags easily. This is a great mall or theme park stroller. I would still use my jogger for rough terrain or running. The wheels on a good paced walk on the street never wobbled or swiveled. My snack tray is still intact but the stroller is fairly new yet and an 8 month old offers little abuse. For what I paid I think this was a good value. A higher end stroller may offer more but will be priced accordingly, so in it's price range I think this is a competitive model.
