My Snugli Early Care is Great for my Newborn Boy

I tried all sorts of carriers for my newborn and this one fit the bill for his first 4 months ( up to 15lbs.) I liked it because 1) His face is not covered by fabric so I know he can breathe and he can see me better. 2) I like that there is some stiffness of the back area / back board to give the sling some shape & strength so my son doesn't flop around or have his back bent too much. 3) I love that he is secured in with the between the legs fabric & strap just like on his bounce seat. It makes me feel like he is less likely to wiggle & fall out of the thing. 4) I can button it up so he feels swaddled and warm in the morning or evening but have the option of leaving it open like other slings. 5) The wide adjustable length strap is nice. I am 5'7" and most other slings made me feel like I was drowning in fabric with adjusting the height. This one keeps him close to me ( up higher) without yards of hanging strap. I really really like this as an alternate to my Baby Bjorn active carrier. It gives me a choice and my baby some variety.
