okay for a short outing

The Bottom Line: trips to the grocery-Go for it
all day at the county fair-get something else
I bought this carrier to use on an all day shopping trip with my three month old. After wearing it for about 3 hours with 12 lbs of baby in it my mid back started to really ache. It was great until then, Chessie enjoyed the closeness it gave her when placed in it facing me, and when facing outward she enjoyed looking around, unfortunately the part that your supposed to fold down when baby is facing outward kept flipping back up and obscuring her view even with it secured under the fastners like the instruction directed. She seemed very comfortable in it.
I would recommend it for short trips, but not for an all day event. I also was disappointed that I couldnt adjust the shoulder straps so the carrier wouldn't ride so high.
Maybe some of the other moms who reviewed this are more dexterous than I am, but I had a really hard time getting her out of it. I would have to hold her and have some one else pull the carrier off of her.
Im also not sure that I would put a newborn in it since the upper part of the carrier which is supposed to supprt the head seemed kind of flimsy.
I ended up returning this carrier shortly after returning from my trip.
