Great, full featured strollers
Date of Review: Dec 28, 2000
We bought this stroller earlier this year before the birth of our first child. We have been very satisfied with the Evenflo Easy Comfort Premier. The stroller was very easy to put together and has held up very well, even during a very snowy winter in Chicago.
The greatest (and unexpected) feature of a travel-system type stroller is the fact that you can move baby from car seat to stroller without waking him/her up. Our son almost always falls asleep in the car and we can move him easily to the stroller without waking him. This is a HUGE plus when driving to a restaurant for dinner.
On the plus side, the stroller is easy to open and close. The one hand closing feature is a big improvement over past models. There is ample storage space for diaper bags and other stuff. Basically, when we get to the mall we throw everything in the bottom of the stroller and go about our shopping. The wheels move very smoothly and turn easily. The brake works well, even on inclines (granted Chicago doesn't have alot of these).
On the down side, this stroller is pretty big and heavy. It is difficult to maneuver in tight aisles of shopping malls. Smaller women (like my wife) will have some difficulty lifting the stroller in and out of the trunk.
This stroller is a great choice for parents of a newborn child. I highly recommend a "travel system" because of the ability to unload a child from the car without waking. In this category, the Evenflo is an excellent choice.
