Excellent Newborn/Infant Carrier

What a great pack for a newborn! We began using our Snugli when our daughter was only 4 weeks old. We mostly used it while shopping. Even though Emily liked her carrier/stroller combo, she seemed to feel even safer and would nap longer while in the Snugli.

It was a lot easier to maneuver around a crowded store with her strapped to us than pushing our heavy duty stroller. (It is funny how some people won't move for a baby stroller.)

As a nursing mother, I was fortunate to establish and maintain a strong connection with my daughter. At times, my husband felt a little left out and wanted to bond with Emily too. It was great for him to be able to carry her in the Snugli, it gave him a chance to build the trust and closeness they had together. I loved that he would not just offer to wear the Snugli, but he would WANT to carry her in it.

Most importantly, it is machine washable!!! We just hang-dried it overnight and it didn't lose shape at all.

It is an incredibly durable carrier, I am sure we will be able to use it again and again when we decide to have more children.

There was one drawback to the Snugli Celebration Front Carrier. Our daughter was always very healthy (75% of weight & height for her age). At times, I worried that she may have felt a little tightly squeezed, though she never complained.
