Eragon a better book

My brother and I had been waiting for the chance to watch Eragon the movie for a week. With excitement we entered the movie theater thrilled to have the experience. What I saw though was a far cry from the book. Eragon the movie in, in essence was a thrilling movie experience. The movie grabbed you from the start leading you through awesome special effects and great characters. The problems were that the plot in the movie was a far cry from that of the book. The movie reworked how Saphira grew up a main part in the book.


THE DRAGONS ADOLESCENCE

In the book Eragon the birth and adolescence of Saphira take up chapters of thrilling descriptions and immense plot work. In the book as Saphira matures She and Eragon form a bond that helps to explain the occurrence of his magic and there understanding of each other. It is during this period that Eragon learns his ground knowledge and understanding of Saphira and the time when Brom realizes Eragon has the dragon.
In the movie though you have a maybe 5 minute sequence of Saphira maturing in the clouds. It is great computer generated work but it leaves the viewer allot to assume
Other than that the movie has great merit if it is judged for a movie not compared with the book

Overall I would recommend those of you who have read the book to watch the movie with an open mind, otherwise you will miss all the cool special effects.
If you haven’t read the book, watch the movie first, it is a great experience for people of all ages.
