Do not buy this printer.

Background: I have owned it for 2 years or so.
I print text and Photoshop graphics/photos (upto 300dpi and upto 8x10).
I only print once every few weeks.

This printer is cheap and prints at high resolution. It seems like a good choice. But...

1. It eats ink like there is no tomorrow. I do not do much printing but for the price I have spent on the expensive ink, I could have bought several printers by now. It feels like I change the a cartridge every 8 prints or so.

2. The heads clog regularly. The head cleaning process eats up lots of ink! It seems to do this automatically also every time you turn it on!

3. Ink gets on the paper grip wheels inside. When I try to print nice pictures sometimes I get black ink marks / lines and it totally ruins my print. I end up reprinting over and over until I get one with no marks. I tried cleaning it, but the ink is on the grip wheels that pull the paper and is almost impossible for me to clean.

4. When one cartridge runs out, it stops printing. Even if you specify black and white print only. This is super annoying.

5. Sometimes the printer grabs several sheets of paper.

This printer seemed good when I first got it, but my disappointment with it has grown to the point that I will never buy epson printers ever again.
