This thing is great!

The Bottom Line: Buy it! I recommend this unit without reservation.
I am no expert on projectors, but am not particularly easy to please, read alot before making this purchase, I suspect one with more experience will be able to point out it's flaws but I am very pleased with this unit, if I stand very close to the picture (about 2-3 feet which is too close for watching) I can see the pixel structure (true on all projectors at some range, this is why I would not buy the next model down where the "screen door" would be more obvious) but I never see it at normal viewing distance, I am still waiting for delivery of my screen so I'm watching it against closed blinds and the picture is still fantastic, can't wait to see it on a real screen!
Update: now that I have an actual movie screen I am blown away by the quality of standard (480p) DVD'S which this unit upconverts to 720p. And HDTV football games? As we say in New York, "Fogetaboutit!" (in other words, fantastic!), Previously I had been watching movies on a large Sony CRT (40") because I didn't feel LCD screens could match the speed and clarity of a CRT (plasma has issues as well), and had been very pleased with that, but this unit can display a picture many times the size of my TV with 0 loss of clarity that I can perceive, I am more than pleased with this unit, after watching a movie on the Epson my wife asked me when we're putting my $1,500 TV set out for the garbage man!
