An SG at 1/3'rd the price.

Date of Review:  Sep 4, 2002
The Bottom Line: A instrument has to fit the musician. This guitar fit's me well.

Short on Cash,Want an SG, Get this

Date of Review:  Feb 12, 2006
Review: This Guitar is the best guitar you can get when you only have $400.I got this guitar last year because i hated my squier and wanted a new guitar. It has 2 volumes, 2 tones, toggle switch, 2 humbuckers, mahogony neck, and tune-o-matic bridge.

Date of Review:  Oct 9, 2005
Review: A couple of weeks ago i had the oppertunity to have bit of a muck around on this guitar, at a mates party. I have also had a play on the gibson SG and there is a big difference.

The neck on this guitar is quite thin and this makes it a lot...

Angus Young on a budget

Date of Review:  Jan 10, 2005
The Bottom Line: A well built instrument which will help you share in the Gibson imagery without the high costs.
Review: As I mentioned in my previous reviews, I am an Australian guitar teacher and my students often come to me for advice regarding gear purchase. A student who has been learning acoustic guitar with me for about three years decided last year to extend...

Angus Would be Proud

Date of Review:  Sep 30, 2009
The Bottom Line: For anyone who can't afford a Gibson, I would reccommend this guitar. It's definately a bargain for $349.99!
Review: I had written a somewhat scathing review of one of these, over a year ago and that was because at the time, I was somewhat inexperienced with these type of guitars as far as doing setups on them, so hence my lack of judgement which showed in my...

This Faded G-400 can scream and growl!

Date of Review:  Oct 10, 2009
Review: The "Faded" (Vintage) G-400 SG is Epiphone's reissue of Gibson's 1962 SG, a classic axe, praised by many. If you can't afford a Gibson, this Epiphone gets the job done. Epiphone is the only Gibson-licensed company able to make authentic reissues and...
