Good guitar for the price.
Pros:
Lightweight (good for me), stays tuned, low action.
Cons:
Fret buzzing occurs easily.
The Bottom Line:
I'd say buy it if you need something to replace your high-end guitars at practice or in small shows, you might even like it more than that high-end guitar.

Features:
A standard Epiphone Korean-made SG Gibson copy with double cutaway body, glued neck, and two Alnico humbuckers. Mine is cherry red. Tone/volume controls. it's very lightweight, maybe some people wouldn't like it because of that, but it's perfect for my shape :-)
The looks:
this guitar looks very nice for the price, I mean, it pretty much looks like the original gibson. The finish stayed in great shape even after a year of carrying it around everywhere.
Sound:
I play in a band where we mostly do cover versions of songs in bars, so the music I play varies from punk to alternative rock to brit pop. This guitar sounds nice no matter what I play, I use a Fender twin amp which is a good versatile amp. It sounds best when I play hard rock but non-metal stuff if you see where I'm going.
Action:
The action is very low the way I like it, but after a month I started noticing a fret buzz, although I take good care of the guitar, it might be the cold winters but I had to adjust the action a little higher to avoid this, but no major things, it still plays great, the neck is comfortable to play with but not suited for very very fast playing I guess, my friend who played for a lot of time had some hard time playing a Pantera fast solo (metal band) but could play it without trouble on his Ibanez RX. If you're playing everything except very fast moving around riffs on the neck, this guitar is good for you. The tuning holds well too, never had a problem with that.
Overall, I'd say this guitar is well worth the price, I'd pay 200 more for the same quality, after adjusting the action, it plays very nice and sounds awesome, plus, it's a gorgeous looking guitar. It's hard to say no to a guitar like this one. Don't get me wrong I've played better guitars but for the price, it's a very good investment for a guitar to bring to practice or to play on stage.
