Product Review

Loved the monitor, when it worked

by   jlgreenlee ,   Mar 8, 2008

Pros:  Huge screen, decent resolution at a fair price. Speakers, who cares?

Cons:  Might not last very long!

Overall Rating: 4/5 stars

Author's Review

I didn't have any of the problems of the previous review, and I have a very basic Dell with an onboard video card (I'm not a gamer). I have two Dell monitors, a 17" and a 19", and Envision monitor met or surpassed them both in quality (especially the 17").

After two months of enjoying the massive screen, and getting very used to all of that real estate, the monitor got twitchy one night, and POOF, power was gone. I got it back on twice, for bare seconds, and then it was dead.

I also bought my monitor at CompUSA's going out of business sale, so return is not an option. I packaged the monitor up yesterday (my cost), and sent it to an authorized repair center.

I'll try to come back here and relay my experience from this point forward.
