These batteries are not that cheap when you have to replace them.
The Bottom Line:
I would highly recommend this unit to anybody that replaces a lot of batteries. It is better to have money in your pocket instead of theirs.

Do you ever get tired of throwing money away on batteries? Well, my wife and I do. That is when we decided to go to Walgreens and purchase this rechargeable overnight unit made by Energizer. It was not a bad price for the charger, it was only $15. The rechargeable batteries will cost you just a little bit depending on how many you by. But you will spend a lot more on regular batteries by tossing them out when they go dead on you.
Description
This whole unit is not very big; it is only 3" x 5" and only weighs approximately 11 ounces. It is gray in color and has the silver Energizer name printed across the face. The lower half stores, four AA batteries or AAA batteries. If you flip this unit over, the plug is hidden in such a way that all you have to do is pull it up with your fingernail and pop it out and plug into the wall. This unit is designed to recharge AA or AAA batteries made by Energizer Nickel Metal Hydride Rechargeable Batteries (NiMH). I have found this best used on batteries that are of a high volume, and go low from too much usage.
Features
There are a couple of nice features that come with this unit is they are the fact that you can charge either two or four AA batteries, or two or four AAA batteries at the same time. This also has two green LED lights on the face of the charger to indicate when the batteries are being charged. This also has a protection device so that you cannot destroy your batteries by putting them in the wrong way.
How to Use
Unlike putting batteries into a device, where you have to alternate them from end to end went they are sitting side by side or on top of each other by alternating the negative and positive polarity of these batteries, all you have to do is put the four batteries in all the same direction. When you do this, and plug it into the wall you will notice that two green LED lights will be lit up as soon as you do this. They recommend that if you are charging only 2 batteries at the time you put both batteries on the right side or both batteries on the left side. Not in the middle.
Experience
My wife and I have used these batteries in just about any product that will hold batteries and some of these products that we have used them in is digital cameras, CD players, MP3 players, and walkie-talkies, remote controls of any kind, toy cars, and game boys. Basically just about anything that you would put batteries in two, these rechargeable batteries will work and save you lots of money.
Conclusion
One of my main concerns in doing a review like this is that some people will think that they can mix any kind of batteries each other and tried to charge them up. Make sure that you do not mix lithium and alkaline batteries together because they will explode after a while. This unit will warm up a little bit, while charging but that is normal. This little device will save you tons of money, plus the fact that you will not have to worry about where to throw batteries out at.
