A great addition to the RTS genre

Empire Earth II Platinum Edition is a combination of the original Empire Earth II game and it's expansion. The basic premise of the game will be very familiar to people who play Real Time Strategy games. You start at the dawn of time with a city center and a few workers and it is up to you to build your city, gather resources, expand your influence, and create your military. You can win through several different means, to include military or diplomatic victories. Due to the inherent replayability of Real Time Strategy games and the different cultures you can represent, Empire Earth II offers a game that will be dynamically different every time you play it. If you want even more challenge, you can play against or with your friends in a multiplayer setting. For those new to the genre, it has an excellent tutorial that gives this game a very easy learning curve. You are in control of how many opponents you face and their level of difficulty, allowing you to customize the game to provide a consistent challenge as you improve your skills and tactics. I have spent many hours playing and replaying this game. I would recommend it to those who enjoy RTS and those would like to try the genre without a large time or monetary investment.
