CD Player - Awful

I bought the Emerson NR3033TTS from KMART to use the turntable and CD Player.

The CD Player skips and fades in and out.

I returned it to KMART for another one. Same thing happened.

Since it was under manufacturer's warranty, I contacted Emerson. They have NO service centers in my area (NJ). In order to get service, I would have to send them the entire unit.

Since turntables are now extinct, I am using it strictly as a phonograph.

Note - Also, the various controls/buttons for the CD Player are difficult to use. Their captions are un-readable.
