OK while it lasted...
Pros:
Radio station pre-sets, 3 disk random player, OK sound,
Cons:
No battery back up, CD player quit working.
The Bottom Line:
I would not recommend this simply because the CD player didn't last long. I would look for another brand of CD player.

Author's Review
I bought this thinking it would be a good starter CD player for my child. Loved the number of presets on the radio stations, and the sound was OK. It does have 4 pre-sets on the equalizer - rock, classic, pop and flat - but none of them offer much range. There is no bass or treble adjustments. The automatic lid took a beating, more than I thought it would. I would have liked it to be able to play a radio station while I changed CDs, but when you try to open the door to change a CD, you have to have it in CD mode, thus no music. The 3rd player lasted less than a year. And if there were any skips on the CD, it would not play it correctly. The player has no battery back-up, so every time the power flickers, you have to re-set everything. The different color back light is annoying after a while because you can't dim it. The remote is handy, and worked well from a distance. The speakers can be separated, so that you get a better separation of sound. Don't buy it for the timer or wake to music function, it's not very functional in that respect.
