Met Hip against other carriers

After buying several types of baby carriers from Playtex hip carriers and Bjorn front and back carrier to simple piece of fabric that they sell as a wrap, I came across the traditional Mei hip and found that it's one of the easier baby carriers to wear and it's made of cotton and breathable which is a big plus for a mom like me who wears it several hours a day.I also like the patterns they come in. The only problem with Mei hip is that the fabric between baby's legs is so wide for a baby that it looks very uncomfortable. The width of the carrier between baby's legs forces the baby to open the legs in 180 degree angle that must be uncomfortable. And because the fabric is cotton, it won't fold between baby's leg.
Also Mei hip can't be worn on a winter jacket.
Even with these issues, Mei hips are far more practical than other type of baby carriers.
