Simple and to the point

Date of Review:  Jan 13, 2007
The Bottom Line: The Elgato Hybrid is good value for those looking for a simple, easy to use PVR solution or who just want to watch video on their Mac.
Review: The Elgato Eyetv Hybrid was my component of choice when I recently put together a media centre based around a Mac Mini. I wanted something small, easy to configure and easy to use. I do not watch that much television, but I would like to record...

The Bottom Line: Intel Duo Core Processor needed for HDTV recording
Review:  I have an older Mac - iMac G5 with a 1.8GHz processor. It doesn't have the Intel Duo processor, and I only recently upgraded to 1GB of RAM memory. So I wasn't sure if this product fit my needs - wanted to watch Cable TV on my Mac while Web surfing...

Great way to add an analog/HDTV to your Mac

Date of Review:  Oct 6, 2006
The Bottom Line: This is an affordable way to watch TV on your computer and see what HDTV is all about.
Review: I bought the EyeTV Hybrid because I wanted to watch HDTV signals on my computer. I am using a Mac-mini with a PPC 1.42MHz processor and 512MB RAM.

This device is perfect for watching television on your computer. It picks up both analog and...

EXCELLENT accessory for your Mac!

Date of Review:  Nov 7, 2007
The Bottom Line: This is a great product. If you buy it, you won't need a TV set.
Review: I had my iPhone refund coupons to spend, and couldn't think what to buy, so I ordered this little item. It's frankly amazing. I'm using it with a fairly recent MacBook (2.16GHz Core 2 Duo, 1GB RAM - you really want a dual core machine to get the...

EyeTV is a digital workhorse

Date of Review:  Jun 1, 2004
The Bottom Line: For the price, you can't go wrong (until something cheaper and better comes along next month).
Review: I have used this product for more than a year and have recorded several hundred movies with it. The interface is simple to use (unfortunately not as simple to understand: the manual is even simpler, and there are a couple of undocumented tricks that...
